Italian happening April 28th in Bristol, U.K.

Italian vehicle enthusiasts from far and wide descend on Bristol, U.K. city centre for the annual Italian Auto Moto Festival on Saturday 28th April. The event will bring some of Italy’s most desirable and charismatic cars and bikes into the heart of the Old City. The show will run from 11am to 4pm and will be centered on the Corn Street/St Stephens Street area, surrounded by some great restaurants, pubs, cafes and the Saturday market stalls. The display streets, (not far from the city's shopping centre), will be closed to traffic, creating a pedestrian friendly zone where the cars and bikes, parked ‘Italian style,’ may be safely viewed. Admission is free of charge both to entrants and spectators.

The entry book is filling rapidly, so please enter early to avoid disappointment. Vehicle entrants must arrive by 10 am.

Anyone with a particularly interesting Alfa Romeo will be more than welcome for the special display, so please contact us ASAP.

Of the other Italian marques, the De Tomaso Drivers Club will be celebrating their 25th anniversary with a display of their members' cars. Pat Lockyer has entered his very rare Stabilimenti Farina Jowet Jupiter.

The Farina Jupiter, one of four built.

The Fiat Dino Club intend to double their 2006 entries by bringing at least ten of their delectable Coupes and Spiders and will use the Festival as their 'Season Opener.' Maseratis are well represented including a very rare RHD Mistral Spyder, believed to be the only one with the 4 litre engine derived from the 6 cylinder engine fitted to the 250F Grand Prix cars. Once again, there will be Lancias, including a promised 1936 Augusta Berlina. On the two wheel front, Ducati UK will be letting us have some particularly interesting racing machinery and the Gilera club has pledged full support. We have already had some MV Agusta entries and there are bound to be more so it looks like being a very interesting event for bike fans.

All in all, an event not to be missed. The fame and reputation of the BIAMF is spreading far and wide and there already entries from Switzerland, Belgium and Ireland. So if you fancy a taste of Italy without needing your passport, come on down! For entries and other information please Email: BIAMF@ourhemanpal.co.uk with your full name, address with postcode, phone & mobile numbers and vehicle details or phone 0117 947 5814.
