I would herewith like to congratulate your organization (formerly VelocePress) for the impressive improvements that have been made lately.

I found particularly your articles/evaluations on vehicles that were produced in the 50s and 60s very to the point and extremely tasteful and interesting, in particular the recent articles on Lancia (Dagrada) and the Maserati 3500. These jewels -- still less sought after if at all by The Public -- were in their era often owned and driven by a class in Society that is generally refereed to as "Gentlemen", mostly in Italy and Great Britain. This in stark contrast to the "nouveaux riche" that preferred the more flashy products from other manufacturers.

I strongly believe that VeloceToday has rightfully identified a niche by focusing on these cars that were technically far ahead of their time and have proven to be definite trendsetters. I look forward to many more of such interesting articles.

Please find attached a photo taken in August 2001 on the grounds of Mr. Bill Marconi's villa at Sasso Marconi near Bologna (Italy). Note the Lancia 2000 (1972) that I continue to use now for close to three decades when vacationing in Italy. Last but not least, forgive me for being a pure Lancista!

A site for sore eyes
Lancia readers might be interested in viewing an excellent site, www.viva-lancia.com. It is one of the most comprehensive and enjoyable sites I have yet encountered. The graphics are clear, the pages are quickly downloaded, but best of all it is absolutely full of Lancia information, events, history, forums, want ads, and news. There are categories for almost every type of Lancia ever built. Very impressive, and it reflects the hard work and passion of webmaster Huib Geurink.
