Mr. Argetsinger died three days after my brother, Frank, went airborne from his motorcycle. I'm glad they have met at last Frank began McNellis Motor Sports in Long Beach, CA, and held Mr. Argetsinger in great esteem. Just to be near the roar he loved, Frank settled in Sebring, FL. He made me a F1 devotee, to the astonishment of all who know me. May our loved ones cheer on the drivers and keep them safe!

Cameron Argetsinger III was a student in the Department of Classical Studies at William and Mary and advisee of mine in the 1980's, after which he worked as a chef at some of the better restaurants in the Williamsburg area for a while, but I haven't seen him for quite a few years. I offer my condolences to everyone in the family.

First saw Argetsinger driving his Healey Silverstone in the Glen races of 1950. Have returned many times to enjoy the great events at all three races courses he began. He lived a full and productive life.
